Following the recent unveiling and a release date later his month, UK's Truly Exquisite has announced limited edition gold and platinum versions of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 smartphone. This clearly indicates that Samsung's Bixby needs a lot more work further, as the voice command feature of the assistant, which is one of the key highlight of the voice assistant - Bixby may not be working properly as of now.
Samsung says other Bixby features such as Home - a screen with dynamic cards - and Reminders will be operational when the Galaxy S8 ships. While there is no more the Samsung logo on the top of the phone, the fingerprint reader has been shifted to the back which doesn't feel too bad because the S8 and S8 Plus makes it feels awkward because you have to reach for. Not that this should come as a surprise to anyone; the device was hugely impressive, featuring a gorgeous new design and killer specs. It's also probably a bummer for Samsung, who would like those new owners to try out Bixby Voice and get acclimated to using it regularly.
