While the number of new smartphone brands entering India has decreased lately, we still get to see new brands trying to make a dent in the Indian smartphone market. The latest one to do so is a new telecom brand by the name Kult. The company has released its first device called the Kult Beyond. The 4G VoLTE enabled Kult Beyond is exclusive to Amazon is priced at Rs 6,999. That being said, Kult is not a total alien when it comes to smartphones since the company already has a licensing agreement to manufacture and distribute BlackBerry products in India. The Kult Beyond will be available on Amazon.in starting from 18th August.
The Kult Beyond comes equipped with a 5.2-inch HD display and is powered by a quad core processor clocked at 1.25GHz and paired with 3GB of RAM. On the storage front, the device offers 32GB of onboard memory which is further expandable via the microSD card slot. Despite being a budget offering the Kult, Beyond boasts of a 13-Megapixel primary sensor with dual LED flash and a 13-Megapixel secondary sensor also paired with a dual LED flash. The brand has further collaborated with Vistoso, a service that lets users print their images on merchandise.
The device runs on Android Nougat and is backed by a 3000mAh battery that is rated to last for up to 25 hours of talk time. The Kult Beyond also comes with a Fingerprint sensor which doubles up as a button to open certain apps, control music and also scroll pages. Kult has also tied up with Amazon which means the phone will be coming preloaded with Amazon apps and other free games.
