Smartron Unveils tphone Smartphone at Rs 22999
The t, tron boasts of being the lightest 5.5-inch Premium phone and it was launched by the legendary cricketer, Sachin Tendulkar who is also a stakeholder in the company.
The device, as it looks, is a nice example of high class engineering and with the price tag of INR 22,999 in which it is available, it would soon be a good competitor for the other Indian based mobile manufacturers.
The phone will go on sale in early June online via the Smartron t.store and Gadget360.
The Smartron tphone is a dual SIM (GSM and GSM) smartphone that accepts Micro-SIM and Nano-SIM Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM, 3G, 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India).

The dual-SIM smartphone runs Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow on a 5.5-inch full HD Super Amoled display. The phone will be available in Classic Grey, Metallic Pink, Steel Blue, and Sunrise Orange colours. The display is scratch resistant, thanks to the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 layer on top of it. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC, which is paired with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM.
The part to notice is the storage space. The phone packs 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. The rear camera is assisted with a Dual LED flash, and it is a 6-element lens. The secondary sensor shapes up as a 4-Megapixel unit with large 2µm pixel size. Also, the company has added several editing tools and features to enhance user's photos and photography experience. The company has topped the Android OS with its own TronX UI, which brings features like t.cloud, t.store, and t.care services and more. Smartron t.phone is backed by a 3000mAh battery and has USB Type-C port for charging.
