Acer Releases Liquid Zest Plus Smartphone

Acer has announced that its Liquid Zest Plus smartphone, which was made official last month, will go on sale in the month of July. The device's memory stands at 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage that is expandable, and it is powered by Android 6.0 Marshmallow right out of the box. Sure, it's got a unusual, soapy name, but its also got a whopping 5,000mAh battery pack inside of its body.

You can choose from either the Andes White or Moroccan Blue version of the phone when it becomes available this coming July for only $199 or €199 in the EMEA region. Acer is expected to showcase the phone at Computex Taipei 2016 from May 31 to June 4.

The device is powered by the MediaTek MT6735 chipset, with a quad-core 1.3GHz Cortex A53 CPU and the Mali T720 GPU. It comes with a 13MP camera with tri-focusing system for fast capturing speed, and a 5MP front camera with 85-degree wide angle lense for selfies.

The massive 5,000 mAh battery of the Liquid Zest Plus will allow the smartphone to last more than three days on a single charge, with the device able to be charged up to half of its capacity in less than one hour.

Acer recently launch a new smartphone that promises the user more power to explore. And after being announced in April, Acer today revealed when its battery-packed Android phone will launch. Audio quality is great, thanks to the DTS-HD Premium Sound, 3D audio, and deep bass.

The smartphone also comes with USB OTG (On-The-Go), which lets you charge other devices with the smartphone.

It's worth mentioning that when the device was unveiled, it's price for the United States market was announced to be $250.
