Acer Liquid Zest Plus with 5000 mAh Battery to Retail for $199 in July

Acer Liquid Zest Plus Lands In the US In July

Last month in New York, Acer announced a new Android smartphone called the Liquid Zest Plus.

The smartphone should also be available in EMEA markets in July with a price starting at $222 (€199). RAM is 2GB, while internal storage is 16GB. One of the main highlights of the phone is its gargantuan battery, a 5,000mAh unit that should easily last throughout the day even with intense data consumption.

The Liquid Zest Plus will be available in Moroccan Blue and Andes White in North America in July starting at $199.

Acer says the Liquid Zest Plus should get up to three days of battery life and that you can charge the phone to 50 percent in under an hour to get a day's worth of run time. Acer will be showing off the smartphone at the Computex Taiwan next week. The Liquid Zest Plus is an amped up version of the entry-level Liquid Zest and it now comes equipped with an advanced camera that boasts of a hybrid tri-focusing system that's super fast and smart as it can focus on different scenes within 0.03 seconds. The smartphone also makes use of its large battery through USB On-The-Go technology, which will allow it to charge up another device. Acer recently expanded its Liquid series with the launch of Acer Liquid M330, priced at $99.99.

Acer Liquid Zest Plus will be available in July in the USA, but the company didn't mention when the smartphone will be available on other markets. Other specs include Android 6.0 Marshmallow, an LTE Cat 4 modem, and DTS sound.

When Acer first unveiled the Liquid Zest Plus, it was said to have a price tag of $250 in the United States.
