Samsung and HTC both launch new phones in China

HTC One A9 is a mid range android smartphone that features a 5 inch 1080p display, a Snapdragon 617 quad-core processor with 2GB/3GB of RAM. It has 32GB of internal storage along with a MicorSD card slot for storage expansion up to 2TB.

Around back, the HTC One X9 has been equipped with a 13-megapixel camera with dual flash, optical image stabilization, and RAW photo support. The new "hero" Android handset launched by HTC is affordably priced at only 2,399 yuan (approximately $370) off-contract in China.

Surprisingly, the HTC One X9 price has also been revealed ahead of the launch. The smartphone is backed by a 3000mAh battery, which is rated to deliver up to 15 hours of 3G talk time, 10 hours of HD video playback, and up to 40 hours of audio playback.

NOTE: If you are trying to SIM unlock a T-Mobile HTC One M9, Android SIM Unlock offers an unlock service for phone which use T-Mobile's Device Unlock app.

It was recently announced that HTC has released yet another affordable Android smartphone in the Chinese telecoms market by launching its HTC One X9 this Christmas, as stated by Engadget.

The other highlight of X9 is that it incorporates BoomSound front-facing stereo speakers.

So far HTC has only mentioned a release in China. Delivering on a promise made earlier in the month to send updates of 6.0.1 and 6.0 to each phone, respectively, before 2016, the new versions of Android should arrive within the next 24 hours. There's also a secondary UltraPixel camera in the front.

The announcement is for those in the U.S., GSM Arena notes, though for those outside the U.S. there is still no announcement regarding any upgrade to Android Marshmallow for the HTC One M9. Coming to the software front, the handset runs an unspecified version of Android with the latest Sense UI interface on top.
