Original Anime VAs to Return in New "Yu Yu Hakusho" Smartphone Game

Japanese social game company KLab (Love Live! School Idol Festival) has co-produced a new smartphone game based on Yoshihiro Togashi's action manga series in the early mid-'90s, Yu Yu Hakusho, with AXEL GameStudio (Dia Horizon), and announced on September 21 that its official title is "Yu Yu Hakusho 100% Maji Battle."

It is also confirmed that the original four main voice cast of the TV anime adaptation aired in Japan in 1992-1994 will reprise their roles. The confirmed four are: Nozomu Sasaki (50/as Yusuke Urameshi), Megumi Ogata (52/as Kurama), Nobuyuki Hiyama (50/as Hiei), and Shigeru Chiba (63/as Kazuma Kuwabara). The TV anime celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, and the anime's production company Pierrot has launched a special site for the anniversary project, introducing various plans (events, collaboration goods, etc.)

In "Yu Yu Hakusho 100% Maji Battle," the main characters, such as Yusuke, Kuwabara, Kurama, and

Hiei, appear as SD characters and show highly intensive battles with exhilarating feeling and overflowing

presence. Players can form their own dream team, including a five-member team which has been desired

by the fans, and can compete with other players' teams. The release date of the battle RPG has not yet

been decided.
