The iPhone 8 launch is today and while there are plenty of rumours about the new phone's features, we can be pretty certain that it will be coming with Apple's latest mobile software, iOS 11.
Unveiled in June at Apple's annual Worldwide Developer Conference, iOS 11 has some major new features including phone-to-phone Apple Pay and a totally redesigned control centre.
Here are all the key things you need to know about iOS 11 ahead of its release.
When is iOS 11 released?Apple is yet to confirm the release date for iOS 11, but it is expected to come in September and it will be a major feature of the new iPhone 8.
Last year, iOS 11 went live on September 13, three days before the iPhone 7 went on sale.
The latest rumours suggest the iPhone 8 will be released on 22 September, which should mean iOS 11 becomes generally available around then. Other reports predict a slightly earlier announcement date of September 6, with the phone hitting shops a week later.
