Samsung Galaxy A7 will be the most expensive of the three, starring two 16-megapixel cameras, one in the front, and one in the back -Samsung emphasizes the selfie capabilities of the gadgets-.
Considering that the Galaxy Note 7 kept posing the same problems with both Samsung SDI and Amperex batteries, it seems that the issue lies elsewhere. According to All About Windows Phone, an image from a Galaxy S8 presentation points to Samsung adopting Windows 10's Continuum, a 2015 feature that allows Windows phones to connect seamlessly to a monitor for a desktop-like experience. Several iPhone 6S have been reported coming with faulty batteries but there has yet to be a case of explosions or fires.
Previous generations of Galaxy A devices have been released in Australia, and Samsung Australia has confirmed that it intends to release the new A series phones in Australia this calendar year. The new phones will be labeled as "Galaxy A 2017 series".
"We look for the memory business to post a big earnings improvement and contribute 50 percent of its (Samsung's) total operating profit for Q416", Daiwa said in a report.
Samsung doesn't have to do much with the Galaxy S8 release to get folks attention, and as you can see, removing the home button would do the trick.
As of now, there is very little information available on the Galaxy X, other than the fact that it will be fully foldable thanks to Samsung's proprietary hinge support. Main features being water and dust resistance (like their high-end siblings, the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge), Samsung Pay integration, and a biometric sensor (fingerprint scanner).
Samsung Galaxy S8 will reportedly come with a Plus version.
If the online reports are to be believed, the first Galaxy X smartphone will be unveiled in Q3-Q4 of 2017. The models A7, A5, and A3 are the mid-tier phone that comes with the flagship of Galaxy S7 series which includes Ingress Protection rating of IP68.
The A3 features a 4.7 inch display, while the A5 sports a 5.2 inch display.
