The report also claims that Samsung will be ditching the flat screen design entirely for the upcoming Galaxy S8 release.

Both models will apparently feature an all-touch front panel with the Home key embedded inside the new OLED display. The device is said to go into testing in January. That's the million dollar question.

The manufacturer could stick with the two variants of the S8 with the S8 Plus offering the bigger screen and maybe opt for an S Pen version called the Samsung Galaxy S8 Pro.
