LG continues on its quirky smartphone streak, with the release of a midrange 5.7in phablet with a stylus and a DAB+ digital radio tuner. A dablet, if you will (I'm sorry).
In a world of streaming music services, it's refreshing to see someone go in a different direction and use an oft-forgotten platform to provide music to your ears, giving you access to your favourite radio stations (and some you've never heard of) without impacting your monthly download limit (provided you live in a major city, that is).
As a phone, it's moderately equipped. It's running the latest version of Android, but it only has a 720p screen, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, 13-megapixel rear and 8-megapixel front cameras and 16GB of storage (with SD card expansion available).Still, it's a pretty interesting device, and its $449 price tag will certainly appeal to the midrange smartphone crowd.
