Panasonic India launches new smartphone

Panasonic India has annoucned the launch of its entry level smartphone - T44 lite which is targetted at first time users of smartphone in Tier II & Tier III markets.

We're not sure what to say about the Panasonic T44 lite style as it's a thick-bezeled handset with a small 4-inch 800 x 480 display. A quad-core MediaTek chip is clocked at 1.3GHz keeps things moving along with some help from 512MB of RAM while the storage is listed at 8GB.
