Lava X17 features a 5-inch 720p HD display while the bigger X50 comes with a 5.5-inch On Cell HD display. Both the handsets offer similar camera specifications which includes an 8MP rear camera with LED Flash at the back and a 5MP selfie camera with LED Flash. The major difference is that the bigger X50 model offers Full HD video recording while the X17 is capable of recording video at a maximum resolution of 720p.
Lava X17 and X50 smartphones are powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processors. The smaller X17 comes with 1GB of RAM and a 2,350mAh battery while the X50, is backed by 2GB of RAM and a 2,800mAh battery. Both handsets support microSD cards of up to 32GB. On the connectivity front, both support 4G, 3G, 2G networks and offers other regular features like GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and microUSB. Last month, Lava had launched its X46 handset. Priced at Rs 7,999, the Lava X46 offers support for 12 Indian languages. It comes with a 5-inch HD display with 720x1280 pixel resolution. The smartphone runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system and is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. It offers 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card. The dual-sim handset boasts of an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera for selfies. On the connectivity front, the device offers 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
