New Nexus Phones To Be Made By HTC

Several reports are claiming that Google is working on the successors of Nexus 5x and Nexus 6P, dubbed the HTC Nexus M1 and S1, which, according to multiple mobile analysts, could become the supreme devices of the year.

Previous rumors have said that Google has partnered with HTC, ostensibly for a new Nexus project.

At the same time, a source told the publication that the codenames of the two new Google devices are Marlin and Sailfish.

The other smartphone that will be released by Google has the codename Sailfish, but its specs aren't known for now. The Nexus 9 tablet featuring an 8.9-inch screen that was released in 2014 was also manufactured by HTC.

The Information recently reported that Google is prepared to have a tighter control over its Nexus line by building smartphones similar to its Pixel devices, which are designed without any help from a third party.

The Taiwanese tech company has been struggling in the smartphone market since the past couple of years. Its latest smartphone, One A9, did not gain much popularity among users due to its resounding resemblance with the iPhone. The rumors seem to have weight on them, as recent speculations suggest that HTC is already working on two new handset flagships under the Nexus banner. The Nexus model that appeared on Geekbench under the title "google Nexus 6P is a direct sequel to 2015's Huawei-made Nexus 6P, which was powered by a Snapdragon 810 processor backed by 3GB of RAM".

Google has announced to host the I/O conference in May, and Android N is expected to be launched this summer.

As soon as we get some more details on these two new Nexus smartphones, including some specifications on the handsets and also some pictures of the devices, we will let you guys know.
