LeEco previously known as LeTV is a Chinese company that emerged last year. In the beginning of 2016 at CES it launched the world's first smartphone that was powered by Snapdragon-820 chip. Now at a recent event in Beijing, LeEco has announced a range of new smartphones.
Other than 3 new smartphones, the company also talked about the release of a new TV, VR headset and an automatic car. "Eco" in LeEco represents ecosystem and so all the new products are being made to integrate into the Ecosystem UI. This means direct access to all LeEco services (clouds, sports, movies etc.) and special features such as finding your car by communicating to your smartphone.
Out of the 3 upcoming smartphones, Le 2 offers basic specs, Le 2Pro gives you slightly upgraded features and Le Max 2 will be the ultimate flagship. Even the base model (Le 2) includes premium features such as 3 GB RAM and 1080p IPS display. Le 2 Pro mainly has a better camera and 4GB RAM. The Le Max 2 will be containing the latest 820 chip plus 6GB of RAM. Past rumors were that the Galaxy Note 6 and other big brand devices would be introducing a 6GB RAM. Now it's apparent that LeEco has beaten all to the chase.
