HTC's New Smartphone Launch: All the Details

The HTC video makes the point that the HTC 10 has a metal body.

There are also speculations that HTC is planning to launch the new flagship as a lineup, with at least two versions coming out today - the HTC 10 and HTC 10 Lifestyle.

We have found another leaked promo video which showed off all major features of HTC 10. Even an introduction video of the device has managed to slip through the cracks before launch.

As for specs, HTC 10 is expected to launch with a 5.2-inch Quad HD display and will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 processor.

There is also a long-standing rumour of a world class 12-megapixel (UltraPixel) rear camera with UltraPixel sensor, optical image stabilisation, and 4K video recording.

The video does not clearly indicate if the HTC 10 will have a massive battery or if the smartphone's software has been optimized to be very battery-efficient. The phone's design and hardware suggests that HTC is taking aggressive steps to reclaim a corner of the competitive smartphone market.

No doubt, the name of the device will be HTC 10 as predicted earlier. A slight boost to 4 GB of RAM is also anticipated as the previous phone only had 3 GB of RAM. It is powered by 4GB of RAM, and has 32GB of internal memory and a memory card slot.

HTC is taking a different approach to unveiling the HTC 10, skipping the big media event that usually comes with new smartphones.

The HTC 10 looks like a solid Android phone, but lacks special features.

It is expected to run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, with HTC Sense 8-which is rumored to be getting its own makeover via a new "Freestyle" layouts for personalized screens, as well as stickers.

The HTC 10 is expected to be available in black, gold, and silver.

The leak also adds weight to the rumor of a 3,000mAh battery and USB Type-C support to charge it up.
