Samsung Galaxy S7 vs iPhone 6s: Flagship Smartphone Battle 2016

With news of Samsung rolling out Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge all over, not so many people are taking a keen interest in when this phablet will be receiving the new Android 6.0 Marshmallow update, or even if it is receiving it now. This lets you use an external card to store apps and app data. However, Samsung has made the Galaxy S7 slightly thicker and heavier than either of the previous two Galaxy models, the S7 stands: 142.4 x 69.6 x 7.9 mm and weighs 152 g.

Samsung recently launched the Galaxy S7 at the Mobile World Congress 2016 in Barcelona, and now the new flagship smartphone is being pitted against Apple's iPhone 6s to see which device is more superior. The company has brought back the memory expansion card on the new Galaxy models; and has also included IP68 water and dust proofing. After Samsung righted its wrongs by placing a microSD card slot on the phone, it goes and disables app installs onto the card, effectively crippling the device's capabilities. The most recent LG G5 vs. Samsung Galaxy S7 infographic is not that amusing, but it's definitely questionable. We believe that our users want a microSD card to transfer files between their phone and other devices (laptop, tablet, etc), especially the photos and videos they shoot with the camera.

Both flagship smartphones have their respective special features. But until now, only a handful of users have received the it while most are still waiting for the OTA update.

With Adoptable Storage - because the memory on the card is seamlessly merged with the internal storage - this can play havoc with your apps and saved data. This behavior may be unexpected by many users and we don't want our users to lose their files.

When you activate the Always On feature (it is optional, don't worry), then you'll be able to see all the information that you think is important to you, like the date, time, number of messages, missed calls, etc.
