The RAM isn't the only thing that's amazing in this great phone, it also offers very high end features. The device looks great with its 5.43-inch Super Amoled QHD display. I personally prefer non-Amoled phones but this one has a QHD display. QHD is practically a battery-guzzler but thankfully it offers a 3600 mah battery which is enough for most smartphone users. The display of the phone is very pleasing to the eyes. It even uses the same dual-edge display similar to the Samsung's Galaxy S7 Edge.
It also sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and 128GB of non-expandable storage for really heavy users. A whopping 128GB! Imagine all the HD movies and HD games you can put in that, not only is the processor so fast, it will load those games and apps in seconds!
If you like to post pictures on Facebook and Instagram, the Xplay 5 Elite also offers a 16-megapixel Sony IMX298 back camera with a phase detection AF, dual-tone LED flash. It also offers an 8-megapixel front camera for those amazing selfies! Along with these amazing specs the flagship also offers dual SIM support and a fingerprint scanner.
If those specs are a bit too much for you, you can always get the cheaper Xplay 5 version. The regular Xplay instead of the high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor and 6GB of RAM offers only a lesser Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor packed with 4GB of RAM. That isn't actually too bad when you think about it. The 4GB of RAM alone makes it totally worth it. You still get the same display, design and OS. However, both only offer android 5.1.
The Vivo Xplay 5 will officially be launched in China on March 8, 2016 for CNY 3,698 ($565). It is expected to retail for RMB 4288 or around Php 30.8K. It hasn't been confirmed if the phone will be offered internationally, but we are hoping they will expand their market soon.
