Samsung Electronics Co Ltd and LG Electronics Inc unveiled their latest smartphones at the Mobile World Congress industry show in Barcelona on Sunday, seeking to buck the slowdown in industry growth.
While the Internet of Things and virtual reality are playing a big part in the show this year, vendors are also pushing the limits this year on smartphone features with innovative technology, such as wireless charging capabilities, flashier displays and improved cameras.
"Customers upgrading to the new smartphones can look forward to the fastest web speeds yet on Samsung's flagship phones with both the S7 and the S7 edge supporting category 9 LTE download speeds of up to 450Mbps on Telstra's 4GX network".
It's Mobile World Congress this week in Barcelona, which means most of Apple's competitors are unveiling their upcoming smartphone lineups that will inevitably compete with Apple's own 2016 lineup.
