Samsung and HTC both launch new phones in China

HTC One X9 specifications and features: The One X9 flaunts a 5.5-inch full HD (1080p) IPS display.

"The recent 5.5" One X9 produced by HTC has a large screen with a resolution of 1920 by 1080 and is operated by the powerful MediaTek chip along with 3 GB of RAM. We will keep you posted as and when we have more information about India launch of the One X9.

Like the more expensive recently introduced HTC One A9 smartphone, the X9 also boasts of same camera features. But considering the HTC One A9 was released with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, it wouldn't be surprising if it went the same route with the One M9.

HTC China offered a teaser yesterday that suggested the company might unveil the rumored One X9 mid-range smartphone on December 24.

The Android 6.0 update should be arriving on the HTC One M9 now. HTC itself use on screen navigation buttons in its other phones. Rumors suggest One X9 comes in a metal body with front facing speakers and capacitive buttons. An UltraPixel camera at the front serves video calls and selfies.

The HTC One X9 is now available in China for 2,399 yuan ($370) without a contract; global pricing and availability have not been announced. However, if you want to install faster the Android 6.0 Marshmallow on your Zenfone 2, then you should know that there is a custom ROM which can be installed on your device right away.

Earlier, specs of the device were released through a leaked certification from TENAA, reported Phones Review. This price pits the device below the One A9, which is priced at 2,799 CNY ($430), if you compare the device with their price in the Chinese market. There's still no word on an official release date, and as far as we can tell the new phone isn't headed to the USA anytime soon.
