iBall Releases Andi Sprinter 4G with ‘Universal Remote’ : Know the Specs and Pricing Details

iBall has been one name which has been leading the markets of computer peripherals across the Indian markets, and has off late been doing some good business in the mobile phones division too.

The company has been gearing up and tapping the semi-rural and rural markets. iBall have recently released their latest device in the Andi series of phones – the iBall Andi Sprinter, which is essentially a 4G device which comes along with a 'universal remote' feature which works on IR.

As per NDTV reports, the dual-SIM iBall Andi Sprinter 4G runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box.

It comes with a 5-inch (480×854 pixels) FWVGA IPS display with a pixel density of around 195.9ppi.

The smartphone is powered by a 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1GHz and coupled with 1GB of RAM and Mali-T720 GPU.

It comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage, of which 4.40GB is user accessible.

However, it can be further expanded via microSD card (up to 32GB).

An 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera with LED flash along with a secondary 3.2-megapixel front-facing camera is also included.

On the connectivity front, the Andi Sprinter 4G offers 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, A-GPS, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth options. It supports Indian 4G LTE bands (Bands -3,8, and 40) as well.

The smartphone packs a 2100mAh battery and comes in Special Gold and Wine colours.

The company notes that the Andi Sprinter 4G comes with support for 9 regional system languages and 21 preloaded languages supporting keyboard.

The smartphone features some preloaded apps as well including Privacy Guard, Backup and Restore, BlackBox, Citrus Cube, Clean Master, Hungama Music, and others. A free protective cover also comes with the smartphone.

The phone is priced in at INR 7,099 (close to USD $110).
