The Eluga I2 is one of three newly released smartphones from PanasonicPanasonic
Panasonic has officially unveiled three new smartphones, the Eluga L2, Eluga I2 and the Eluga T45. In recent years, Panasonic has focused on producing low cost devices.
With these three new releases, Panasonic decided to release 4G capable phones that provide high-speed internet but still maintain flexible price points.
Aside from 4G capabilities, the smartphones are also loaded with the latest Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. The devices also have dual SIM slots.
The Panasonic Eluga L2 has a 5.5-inch screen with a 540 x 960 resolution. It features an 8 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2 MP front-facing camera.
The device uses a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and has 1 GB of RAM. It is also equipped with a 2,500 mAh battery.
It has 8 GB of internal memory but may be expanded using the microSD slot.

The device is priced at around $222. It comes in two variants, Sand Grey with a simple matte finish or Midnight Black with a leatherette finish.
The Panasonic Eluga I2 is equipped with a 5-inch IPS display with a 720 x 1280 resolution. It has the same camera and internal memory specifications as the Eluga L2.
The device has a 1 GHz quad-core processor and 1 GB of RAM. It is equipped with a 2,000 mAh battery.
The Eluga I2 will cost around $184 and will be available in three colors: metallic silver, metallic gold and metallic grey.
The Panasonic Eluga T45 is the smallest among the three with a 4.5-inch TFT display with a 854 x 480 screen resolution.
It is equipped with a 5 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3 MP front-facing camera. It also has 8 GB of internal memory, with expansion options.
It has a 1 GHz quad-core processor with 1 GB of RAM and is equipped with a 1,800 mAh battery.
The T45 is the cheapest, being sold for about $155.
The three low-cost devices impress with large displays, 4G capabilities and up-to-date Android OS, unfortunately, with the vast choices in the market today, its hardware specifications may leave consumers wanting a little more.
