The last week has been quite an interesting week when it comes to mobile phone markets in India.
The country has seen various launches and events happening in a span of seven days, and there have been various phones which have been releasing.
Indian markets have opened up to smartphones and are peaking right now.
With more and more people not just buying their first smartphone, but also upgrading their older smartphones, the country is seeing a major boost in terms of development and the purchasing power of the people has risen and the cost of the phones have fallen.
Motorola unveiled its new generation of Moto devices, Lava came out with the Pixel and the Iris X1 Selfie, OnePlus announced the OnePlus 2, Micromax on its part announced the Canvas Xpress 2 and Canvas Silver 5, all in all there was a lot of commotion going on, and InFocus too, on their part did quite well as the company announced four new phones – the InFocus M370, M550-3D, M808, and M812.
Here's a quick rundown on all the releases that have happened:The M370 from InFocus comes with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 (MSM8909) processor clocked at 1.1GHz with 1GB RAM.
The dual-SIM phone has 8GB of built-in storage and supports expandable storage via microSD. It comes with a 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display and an 8MP primary camera along with LED flash. A 2MP front camera is also present. The phone has a 2230mAh removable battery.
The InFocus M550-3D features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) autostereoscopic (glasses-free 3D) display. The M550-3D is powered by a powerful octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor clocked at 1.7GHz with 2GB of RAM.
The phone comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card. There also is a 13MP primary camera with LED flash. The phone comes with a 5MP front cam with IR face detection and IR LED. The phone is powered by a 3100mAh removable battery.
The InFocus M808 smartphone releases with a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display and is powered by MediaTek's 64-bit octa-core MT6753 processor clocked at 1.3GHz with 2GB of RAM.
It comes with 16GB of inbuilt storage and supports expandable storage. The M808 comes with a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 5MP front camera. The phone has a somewhat disappointing 2450mAh non-removable battery.
The InFocus M812 comes with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 (MSM8974AC) processor clocked at 2.5GHz coupled with a powerful 3GB RAM. The phone has 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded via microSD card and it features a 5.5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display.
The smartphone sports a 13MP primary camera. There is an 8MP wide-angle front camera which helps take great selfies! The phone comes with an average 2900mAh non-removable battery.
